Act 117: The Great Migration(2/2)
When he boarded the not-so-high city of Loen Port, Brando quickly realized that there was something different about the cavemen stationed on the plains. These cavemen seemed to be what Rogers and others had returned - they were undisciplined and well-equipped.
Inferior, at first glance it looks like a garrison with low combat effectiveness, but in addition to the caveman warriors holding weapons and wearing armor, there are many civilians without weapons in the caveman camp, or they are called caveman peons.
These cavemen accounted for a large proportion in the camp. While they were building the camp, they were managing some strange creatures. At first, everyone thought that those creatures were siege beasts prepared by the Jorgandigan people to attack Port Loon.
, but later it was discovered that it was a hoofed beast. The status of this creature in Jorgan Diggon was similar to that of cattle and sheep in the surface world. It was the livestock of cavemen.
"Are these cavemen's logistics troops?" Sir Cooper couldn't help but murmured to himself when he saw this scene: "That's wrong, how could the logistics troops come to Loen, and it doesn't look like it!"
Cooper's words reminded Brando, and he quickly realized that the behavior of the Jorgendigans was not like plundering the surface, but more like migration or colonization.
But this is not in line with the usual behavioral patterns of underground creatures. The surface world is not a comfortable living environment for them. Most underground creatures will be blinded by strong light, and the bright sunshine on the surface is too dazzling for them.
So what are they doing?
Brando was filled with doubts, but fortunately, there seemed to be just one person in the envoy who could answer his questions.
He immediately asked the little prince to call Lesmeka.
Not long after, the Medusa came up from the city. Her appearance caused a commotion in the crowd, and the crowd made a way for the lady from the Qiaogendigang underground.
Lesmeka separated from the crowd and came to Brando - this was the first time Brando had the opportunity to meet her in person, although the latter had already entrusted the little prince to tactfully express to him that he wanted to see him.
But Brando knew very well what kind of character the residents of Qiao Gendigang were. If possible, he actually didn't want to believe this woman.
He turned back to look at the lady who caused a moment of astonishment in the crowd. The latter had gorgeous snake hair - like a poisonous snake spitting out letters - and her face was very beautiful, as smooth and flawless as a sculpture of an ancient Greek goddess.
Under the slender eyebrows, there are a pair of vertical pupils in the amber eyes. If you don't look at her long hair, eyes and tiny snake scales on her forehead, she can still be called a beauty.
After listening to Brando's statement and personally seeing the cavemen and their livestock on the top of the city, Ms. Medusa seemed to have expected it and answered very calmly and firmly:
"My lord, you guessed it right, they are migrating."
"And in fact, this is the great migration of Qiao Gendigang that has not been seen in thousands of years."
Her voice had a slight twist, as if it was the singing voice of a siren.
